Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth of July weekend with your loved ones. Today, I want to talk about a topic that I get questioned about often. How can you be a Social Butterfly while managing a website? If you are not a business owner who owns a website, or a blogger, you probably do not know how time consuming it really is to own and operate a web page.
Bloggers and website owners spend multiple hours managing and working to improve their sites. Sometimes most of the work is behind the scenes, so they are not getting any credit for it (which is okay, but it can also be tedious). Although it does take a huge chunk of time out of your day-to- day life, you can still be a social butterfly while managing a website. Just follow the next few recommendations from yours truly.
My first tip is to wake up early each day, or when you need to get a lot done. I know it may be challenging when you have work and life to worry about as well. But I’m telling you right now, when you wake up early, you will be more productive. You will also get things done at an earlier time than you would have before. Resulting in extra time to spend with your family and friends in the afternoons and evenings.
If you cannot wake up early, or if you need more structure than that, try setting aside time to work and play. I work a regular full-time job, so although that I don’t have much flexibility on my work schedule, I can control how I can utilize my free time. For example, if you have a lot of work Monday but you also have blog deadline, and a dinner that you would love to go to that evening; wake up early and set your schedule to go into work from 8AM to 5PM. (That’s 8 full hours plus an hour break). Blog during your lunch break, and bring a change of clothes to the office, then go enjoy your dinner night. Having a set schedule will help your productivity levels spike, so that you are able to make it to every event that you want to attend throughout the week.
Delegate, delegate, delegate. Do I need to repeat myself? Delegation leads to a lot of great things such as efficiency, stress-reduction, development, empowerment, leadership, and more. You and your entire team will be more efficient if you allow delegation within your business because each duty is transferred to a specific person (or people) that have skills to match the role. This will ensure that they are able to do the task correctly, quickly, and with ease, and for you, this means that you have more time, less stress, and more fun.
For large businesses, it’s easy to hire a full team of full-time staff members to delegate all of your work tasks. But for smaller businesses and especially bloggers, you might need to just hire one or two experts to enhance your website. For example, if you need help with search engine optimization, then you might want to focus on hiring someone specifically for that such as SEO New Jersey company, NJ SEO.
NJ SEO provides effective content strategies for forward thinking companies. They are your go-to for full-service digital marketing services and they are a local New Jersey company (even though they provide services to companies all over the world). For a business in NJ specifically, however, they love to provide local SEO services.
With clients such as Ray of Hope Counseling Services, Ameritechnology, Frontier Tree & Turf, Atlanta Peach Movers, and more, their goal is to design a tight, digital strategy that focuses on their clients’ key commercial goals. The experts at NJ SEO can assess the impact and effectiveness of your digital technologies and can investigate when your competitors are doing, as well. Then, they identify KPIs for further measurement and evaluation of your online strategy for success. They say, “We work closely with our clients when establishing goals and objectives for their online activity. Our team of experts uses a wide range of industry-tested tools, resources, and techniques for an accurate analysis of your business, customers, and competition. At the end of our analysis and audit, we submit a comprehensive report on our findings, which includes clear and informed recommendations about the next steps to take.”
Tackle One Thing At A Time:
Set a goal and complete it. What I mean by this is to try to limit yourself from jumping around from task to task. Instead, choose one task and work towards that until you finish it completely. Then, move on to the next goal at hand. This will help you get work done faster and more efficiently.
There you go – my best tips on how to be a social butterfly while managing a website! I hope you enjoyed this read! If you have any other suggestions, I’d love to hear them!
